Overview

Daack Pack is a dog training business specializing in behavior consultations and group training sessions. They approached me needing both a digital identity and a modern web presence to support their growth and client outreach. The project began with a focused landing page and expanded into a full 5-page website redesign.

Goals

  • Establish a visual identity that reflects the professionalism and warmth of their services
  • Design a responsive landing page to drive interest and class sign-ups
  • Build a scalable CMS website with clear service flows and e-commerce functionality
  • Prepare brand assets for print and digital use

1. Branding & Visual Identity

  • Developed a cohesive color palette rooted in natural tones that evoke trust and calmness
  • Selected typography that balances friendliness with legibility, ideal for both headers and body copy
  • Edited the existing logo to include a cat illustration, broadening the brand appeal
  • Created multiple logo variations (horizontal, stacked, icon-only) for use across platforms and print materials

2. Landing Page Design

  • Designed and built a one-page site using Clicks from DigiWoof
  • Integrated anchor-link navigation for smooth scroll UX
  • Crafted modular content blocks highlighting core services, qualifications, and contact options
  • Optimized for mobile, speed, and basic SEO best practices
  • Launched within one week to meet the client’s timeline for promotions and inquiries

3. Full Website Build (In Progress)

  • Currently designing a 4-page website that will include:
  • Home (refined from landing page)
  • About the team and training philosophy
  • Services with detailed descriptions
  • Contact with integrated forms and social links
  • Enhancing backend CMS access for easier client editing and updates
  • Expanding SEO structure, accessibility compliance, and potential e-commerce functionality

Impact

With the initial landing page live, Daack Pack has already increased client engagement and laid the groundwork for a fully operational digital presence. The in-progress full site will give them the flexibility to scale their services and communicate with clients more effectively.
