Did you know that business websites are legally required to be ADA compliant? That’s right. If you own a business and have a website, you need to be ADA compliant or you might be opening yourself up to a lawsuit.

There are tons of free ADA compliance checkers on the internet. You can just Google one and put your website in and check it. There’s a lot of things that goes into ADA compliance.

Some of them are backend things like making sure your headers are all hierarchical, making sure your links have ARIA labels and your images have alt text. Some of it goes into front-end design stuff, like making sure that there’s enough contrast in your design and in your text so that people with low vision can actually see it. If you are unsure about any of this, you are welcome to go to BlizzardBranding.com and schedule a free call to go over your website and see what you might be able to do to not only make sure that you are legally in the safe zone, but also make it easier for people with disabilities to access your website.
